sketchbook pages

Having a sketchbook is an essential part of my art practice. I can’t even remember a time in my life when I wasn’t doodling or drawing on scrap paper, napkins, dolls and as I got older, a sketchbook.

My sketchbook gives me an outlet from the chaos of everyday life and I am not sure how I would cope without them. I love experimenting but for the most part I use color pencils, pen, pencil, acrylic paint and sometimes crayon.

I do not work in one sketchbook at a time which means I have a ton of unfinished books floating around. I also do not have a brand I stick to. I just use what I have or in some cases just make one out of scrap paper.
